Pixion Film AI Studio is operated by Pixion Film Pty Ltd (Pixion Film, we, us or our). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information when you use studio.pixionfilm.com.au and related Studio APIs (the Service).

Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication provider identifier, verification status, session data, account role, and the date and version of the Terms accepted when an account is created. If you sign in or create an account with Google, we receive the Google account identifier, email address, name and profile information that Google makes available for authentication.

We collect the content and production data you choose to provide, including prompts, uploads, reference images, video, audio, documents, Project and Director content, Voice Profiles, generation settings, outputs, history and feedback. Some submitted media may contain personal information about you or other people.

We keep Credit balances, quotes, charges, refunds, purchases, storage use and other transaction records. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we receive payment status and transaction identifiers but do not store complete payment-card details.

We collect operational and security data such as request time, session and API-token activity, error and diagnostic logs, server routing records, approximate country and information needed to detect abuse. We process your IP address to determine an approximate country, enforce regional model availability, secure the Service and prevent abuse. We retain the country code associated with recent authenticated account activity for account administration; the lookup does not produce a precise location and IP geolocation may be inaccurate.

How We Use Information

We use this information to create and authenticate accounts; record acceptance of our Terms; provide generation, storage, project, Director and Voice features; make history available across devices; process payments; manage Credits, quotas and concurrency limits; route work to compatible infrastructure; recover interrupted jobs; provide support; diagnose failures; protect users and systems; enforce licences and regional restrictions; prevent misuse; meet legal obligations; and understand and improve Service reliability.

Country lookup is performed locally using the DB-IP Lite database; Pixion Film does not send each visitor's IP address to DB-IP for this lookup.

Pixion Film does not use private customer prompts, uploads or outputs to train a general-purpose AI model unless we first obtain your consent. Your content is processed by the models and infrastructure needed to fulfil your request.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose or make information available only as reasonably necessary to:

• authentication, payment, hosting, storage, database, communications, monitoring, support and AI-compute providers that help operate the Service;
• professional advisers, insurers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other recipients where required or authorised by law; and
• a purchaser or successor in connection with a proposed or completed business sale, merger or restructure, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.

Service providers may process information outside Australia. Google and Stripe operate internationally, and compute or infrastructure providers may be located in Australia or other countries made available to us over time. Because provider routing and locations can change, it is not always practicable to list every destination country. We take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements appropriate to the information and service involved.

Data Retention

We keep account and active content while your account is in use and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service. You can delete supported uploads, generated files, history and Projects through the Service. Deleting a Project removes its Project-owned assets, conversations and generated media, subject to active-job safeguards and any shared references.

Deletion from the live Service may not immediately remove temporary copies, caches or backups, which are removed or overwritten under operational retention cycles. We may retain transaction, Credit, consent, security, dispute and audit records for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and enforcement purposes after related content or an account is deleted. When personal information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Security

We use measures including server-side sessions, access controls, HTTPS, ownership checks and database-backed account records. Access is limited according to operational roles, and generation providers receive only the information required to perform the requested work. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so you should avoid submitting sensitive personal, confidential or regulated information unless you are authorised to do so and the Service is appropriate for that use.

Your Access, Correction and Deletion Requests

You may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, or request deletion where applicable. We will respond within a reasonable period and explain any lawful reason why a request cannot be fulfilled in full.

Privacy Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your personal information appropriately, contact our Privacy Contact at info@pixionfilm.com.au with enough detail for us to investigate. We aim to acknowledge and respond to privacy complaints within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and last-updated date will remain available on this page. We will provide additional notice where a material change requires it.
